Celebrations!

Today we wanted to take a moment to celebrate ALL of our KU families. The end of the year is a great time to reflect on what has been accomplished and we have seen so much accomplished this year.

We’ve seen communication successes including children using a word or picture to communicate for the first time, answering more questions, learning to express feelings or following more directions.
We’ve seen children participating more in routines and building more independence. This includes some children understanding what comes next in a routine, trying to do some steps themselves and in some cases, doing these routines entirely independently.
We’ve seen children transitioning better from preferred activities and accepting “no” by choosing alternatives.
We’ve seen children learning more ways to calm.
We’ve seen children asking new friends to play and engaging in conversations.
We’ve seen children explore and try new foods.
We’ve seen children become independent in toileting and some use the toilet for the first time ever.

We could not be more excited for each and every one of you.

From everyone at KU, THANK YOU! Thank you for sharing these successes. Thank you for sharing strengths and challenges with us. Thank you for allowing us (virtually) into your homes and lives this year. We are so grateful you have chosen KU to be part of your family’s journey.
We are looking forward to so much more to come in 2021!

Winter Break Fun

This holiday break is going to involve much more time at home for most of us. So, this might have you asking: how can I keep my kids busy throughout the break? Look no further! Our team has put together some tips and ideas for winter activities (both indoor and outdoor). The attached tip sheet includes a variety of activities as well as tips for how you can incorporate them into your routines.

Seasons Greetings from our Family to Yours

We wanted to take a moment to send holiday greetings from everyone at The Uncomplicated Family (Kids Uncomplicated, Teleroo and Kids Digital Health).

Some of our puppet friends and staff got all dressed up in their Christmas best and hopped on to a Teleroo call to spread some holiday cheer!   We also thought this was a great time to introduce you to our “Cardboard Kids”. These puppets (and more) will be featured in new and exciting content for kids coming from The Uncomplicated Family in 2021.

We wish you health and happiness this holiday season.

Merry Christmas!

Happy Hannukah!

Happy Kwanzaa!

Happy New Year!

With Gratitude,

The Kids Uncomplicated Team
