Mealtimes are a busy and challenging time for most parents. These can become especially stressful with picky eaters. Parents can’t be sure if their child will eat what’s in front of them or even eat at all.
A lot of parents we support at Kids Uncomplicated have to make separate meals to serve their children to make sure they eat. Expanding food repertoire can have a huge impact on this routine and overall quality of life for many families. Here are a couple stories of success:
“Sarah’s” parents had been working hard to expose her to new foods and in a short time she was smelling and licking some new foods. Another young boy became involved in the routine by being a helper! He took his role of chef very seriously and was involved in making sandwiches at home. He used to refuse to eat bread but would soon eat them regularly. Another young boy went from refusing to eat all vegetables and is now eating a variety of vegetables, as well as many other new foods!
